Q. WHAT IS LOVE YOUR CARAVAN? . . .
A. Love Your Caravan is a policy and service designed especially for owners of touring caravans.
Q. WHO IS THE INSURER? . . .
A. The policy is underwritten by Legal & General Insurance Limited (Registered number: 00423930) registered in England and Wales at One Coleman Street, London EC2R 5AA and ERGO Versicherung AG (Registered number: BR016401) registered in England and Wales at Plantation Place, 30 Fenchurch Street, London EC3M 3AJ.

Q. HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM? . . .
A. Love Your Caravan is supported by a dedicated claims team who will take every care to ensure that your claim is handled quickly and fairly. To make a claim under your Love Your Caravan policy, please call the Claims Team at Davies Group on 0344 856 1868.
Q. CAN I COVER THE CONTENTS OF MY TOURING CARAVAN? . . .
A. Yes. During the quote process you will be asked to provide a sum insured for your contents so we fully understand your risk. Your policy covers your contents up to 10% of the caravan insured for Silver Cover and 20% of the caravan sum insured for Gold Cover. You can tailor the policy to the sum insured you require if you require a higher sum insured, please ask your Love Your Caravan consultant.
Q. WHERE CAN I FIND A COPY OF THE POLICY DOCUMENT OR POLICY SUMMARY OR YOUR TERMS OF BUSINESS? . . .
A. Please feel free to contact us if you would like us to send you a copy of any documents, before you purchase your policy.
Q. HOW CAN I PAY MY PREMIUM? . . .
A. You can pay for your Love Your Caravan insurance by credit or debit card, cheque or from a UK bank account. You can also pay by instalments via our premium finance provider, Close Premium Finance (CPF). If you wish to pay by cheque or bank transfer please call us on 0333 207 9964 . Our office hours are 08:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Q. HOW DO I AMEND MY POLICY? . . .
A. If you have already purchased your Love Your Caravan policy then please contact us if you need to make any changes.
If you contacted us for a quote, please contact us and we will make the amendment to your quotation.
Q. DOES MY CAR INSURANCE COVER MY CARAVAN? . . .
A. In the event of a road traffic accident whilst towing your caravan which is your fault, your car insurance will only cover you for the damage sustained to a third party. It does not cover damage to your own caravan.
You could also suffer the loss or damage to the caravan when the caravan is not being towed and that would not be covered under your car insurance.

Q. WHAT DOES THE LOVE YOUR CARAVAN POLICY COVER? . . .
A. Love Your Caravan covers you against loss or damage to your caravan and its contents. Love Your Caravan covers you for such perils as storm, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, accidental damage. Love Your Caravan also covers you for Public Liability as detailed below. Additional extensions are available for Emergency Travel, Getting your Caravan Home, Loss of Use, additional contents, family and friend use. Gold and Silver cover options are available as detailed on our website.
Q. WHAT IS THE POLICY EXCESS? . . .
A. The standard policy excess is £100.00. Ask your Love Your Caravan consultant about voluntary excesses available, which may reduce your premium.
Q. WHAT GENERAL SECURITY CONDITION DO I HAVE TO COMPLY WITH? . . .
A. You must fit a wheel clamp and hitch lock of proprietary manufacture, or an alternative fully operational security device which has been agreed by us, to the caravan whenever you leave the caravan unattended or whilst the caravan is at the storage address. If you require any advice on the security of your caravan please contact us.
Q. AM I COVERED IF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS USE MY TOURING CARAVAN? . . .
A. Yes. We will cover you against loss or damage to your caravan and its contents when your caravan is being used for private purposes by any member of your family, other relatives or friends.
Q. AM I COVERED FOR PUBLIC LIABILITY? . . .
A. Yes. You have £3m of cover under your Love Your Caravan policy arising out of ownership, possession or use of the caravan and its contents, for you, your family, other relatives and friends.
Q. DOES MY LOVE YOUR CARAVAN POLICY COVER AN AWNING? . . .
A. Yes, it does. Cover for awnings is provided up to £500.00. Additional cover is available, please ask your Love Your Caravan consultant.
Q. CAN I EXTEND MY LOVE YOUR CARAVAN POLICY TO PROTECT MY NO CLAIMS DISCOUNT? . . .
A. Yes, you can if you have 4 or more years no claims discount this can be protected. Ask your Love Your Caravan consultant for further details.
Q. WHAT IS NEW FOR OLD COVER? . . .
A. If you suffer a loss or damage we will pay the cost of repairing your caravan or if the caravan is damaged beyond economical repair, we will pay the cost of replacing your caravan with a brand new equivalent provided that a) the caravan is no more the 5 years old at the start of the period of insurance and b) the sums insured represent the cost of a new caravan of the same make and model.
Q. WHAT IS MARKET VALUE COVER? . . .
A. We will pay the cost of repairing your caravan or the market value of your caravan at the time of loss. The market value will be the cost of replacing your caravan with one of a similar make, model, year, mileage and condition based on the market prices at the time of the loss, we refer to publications such as Glass’s Guide in order to assess the market value.
Q. AM I COVERED FOR LEGAL EXPENSES? . . .

Q. AM I COVERED IN EUROPE? . . .
A. Yes, under our Gold Cover policy we offer up to 180 days' cover.
Q. AM I COVERED FOR PERSONAL ACCIDENT BENEFIT? . . .
